Getting ready above the Karlsplatz

The day begins quietly, high above Karlsplatz. The suite looks out over the rooftops of the old town, the towers of the Frauenkirche on the horizon — soft window light, a glance out at the city, the calm before the celebration.

Munich is a stage of its own. Between the facades of the Residenz and the arcades of the old town, the couple step into the streets — sunglasses on, the city all around.
